I am here to help you today. Ever wonder what "No Follow" is or "Do Follow"?
"No Follow" is simply a code that instructs search engines to not follow any of the hyperlinks in the body of a document, which is provided by the links of the people who leave a comment on your blog. It was created to deter "link spamming".
A lot of times people will make comments on blogs and join social networks to put links to their blogs or sites so that others will click the link and find their site. These are also called back links.
The reason "No Follow" was created was because spammers were putting fake comments on blogs to get people to come to their websites and then it would improve the spammers search engine rank. Unfortunately it created a lot of havoc and became irrelevant to the blog to which the spammer left the comment. So, for instance a spammer would put a comment on your blog that is about tattoos and then they put a link at the end of the comment. When someone clicks the link it would go to a camping website. Nothing to do with tattoos. See what happens? It isn't relevant to the content of your blog or site and becomes frustrating and becomes a nuisance to the blog visitor.
"Do Follow" is a piece of code that will create outbound links to your site. It tells the search engines to give an outgoing link and whether or not you want them to follow the link when crawling your website. Do Follow blogs can direct some juice to websites you don’t care about, the ones you don’t intend to develop as a reputable brand. Basically, AdSense or affiliate sites where you just want visitors to go in and come out via your referral link or ad click.
When you advertise your blog as a "Do Follow" blog, you are encouraging others to comment. Which can be good if they are legitimate comments and links.
The "No Follow' and "Do Follow" have caused a great deal of debate since it was introduced. It is definitely a subject that should be researched more and tested.

Make A Giant List Of Contacts!!
Want more people to sell your product to? You can build a list of emails to sell your products to. The one thing we all are here for is to sell our product or service to as many people as we possibly can. How many times have you tried to advertise your website, and well... you get maybe a few emails to send your offers to. It can be discouraging.
One way that is quick and easy to get your list growing is Publicity! I'm talking video, pod casts, Newspaper and even Internet radio! You can make a podcast, or make a video and put it on You Tube, write and article and put a link on the article to your site. These strategies have led to large lists for many online businesses. Don't forget that offering something free is always a good addition. For instance... Offer a free newsletter or mini course on the subject of whatever it is that your selling. It will draw attention to your video, podcast or article.
Publicity will promote your company, increase traffic to your website, increase your list size, and eventually increase sales.
Some ideas to promote your website using publicity.

Using video on your website
Video marketing is growing fast on the internet. Video sharing sites are among the most visited sites on the Internet, and now it is possible for you to get a piece of that traffic as well. Website owners are using it to get targeted traffic to their sites. Adding video on your website shouldn't be a feature length movie it should not be much longer than a few minutes. Use the smallest file possible. The beginning of your video should be interesting enough to hold someones attention so as they dont get bored.
Video sharing websites like You Tube and Blip TV get millions of hits every day from visitors searching for information on a specific product or service. By putting a video on your website you can get some of those visitors to your site.
By taking advantage of video marketing you will increase your sales and your search engine rankings. And it will directly affect the success of your website.

Make a plan to succeed!
It is imperative to make a plan if you want to succeed! Having a successful online business comes with planning and often times you will find that most people are getting a website up with the free website builders, they get a domain name , join a few affiliate programs, throw up some links and think that overnight they are going to be a millionaire.
There is no such thing as this. It just doesn't work that way. You cannot become rich overnight.
If you want to succeed, you must set goals, do your homework and do tons of research in your niche, learn from other peoples mistakes and learn from the ones who have succeeded, read everything you can. Make a decision whether you want to work for a company as a distributor or do you want to be an affiliate and make your own straight commission for your own efforts. You must plan and prepare, educate your self. It is a learning curve and takes time for success as an online business owner. Make a decision on what it is that you want to do, and then figure out how your planned site will generate a real income.
Research your competitors and learn what they did to improve their websites. There is this really cool website that I highly recommend checking out. It is called Way Back Machine and here is the link: http://web.arhive.org/
Just type your competitors website address in the search, and it is really neat to see what your competitors site used to look like, then you can see what they did to change it through time.
